Paul Ryan spoke of Republicans' “unfinished business” in a rare public address.

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan discussed details of his preferred agenda at a conference hosted by Edison Electric Institute on entitlement spending reforms and immigration, according to the Washington Examiner.

Edison Electric Institute President Thomas Kuhn asked Ryan whether or not he would run for president in the future, but the former House Speaker responded instead by discussing Republicans' “unfinished business”.

This “unfinished business” primarily concerned what Ryan referred to as “a debt reduction plan” and immigration. He claimed that entitlements would cause a debt crisis and regretted not putting entitlement reforms in place during his speakership. Reforms to entitlement spending would have cut Medicare and Social Security.

Ryan believes both issues to be solvable, but they are complicated by the fractured nature of U.S. politics, he believes. “Our politics are vicious right now,” he said.

During his term, Ryan passed a tax cut plan, improved water infrastructure, reformed the criminal justice system , and modernized air traffic control. His accomplishments, however, were overshadowed by President Trump’s overwhelming presence on social media, which “is really what captured the attention of the public,” according to Ryan.

So a TAX CUT for billionaires and continued corporate welfare will not create a debt crisis but Medicare and Social Security will....hmmm....

Communists often study Judo, Jujitsu, or a fighting Taiji like I study and teach. In these arts the student is taught that the opponent must be allowed to defeat himself. When children are called upon to support their poverty-stricken parents they will consider their own futures, and they may listen to Communists, Socialists, or others seeking to make a root change (like Radical) in society.

And our biggest regret is Ryan ever getting elected in the first place.
