Pastor Impregnated Teen, Tried To Hire Hitman To Kill Judge Who Sentenced Him
A youth pastor from Pennsylvania impregnated a teenage girl and has now been charged with soliciting the murders of his senior pastor and the judge who sentenced him, The Mercury News reported.
Jacob Malone, 37, is charged with attempted murder, criminal solicitation, attempted aggravated assault, and making terroristic threats.
Malone was serving three to six years at Laurel Highlands state correctional institute in western Pennsylvania at the time of the alleged murder-for-hire solicitation after pleading guilty to charges of corruption of minors, institutional sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of children.
He was arrested in 2016 after a teenager gave birth to his child. Harold Lee Wiggins, the senior pastor at Malone’s church, reported the sexual relationship to police.
The teenager had reportedly been sexually assaulted at the age of 17 after she had moved with him and his family from Minnesota to Pennsylvania’s Chester County.
Judge Jacqueline Carroll Cody rejected his lawyer’s negotiated sentence of two to four years, with no rape charge, and imposed a sentence of three to six years.
The imprisoned Malone offered a fellow inmate $5,000 to kill Wiggins and an unspecified additional amount for killing Cody.
Malone’s cellmate, Anthony Yerger, told State Trooper Patrick Hauser last week of Malone’s plot “to get revenge on people involved in this case.” His report was confirmed by another inmate, Angelo Tomeo, who was offered the same deal, and was given a map of Calvary Fellowship, Wiggins’ church.
