On Twitter, Lev Parnas’ Lawyer Publicly Shames Nunes For Not Recusing Himself
Attorney Joseph Bondy, who represents indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, said on Tuesday that Congressman Devin Nunes should have recused himself from the impeachment investigation due to his own involvement in the Ukraine scandal.
According to The Week, Bondy tweeted his message to the California lawmaker, who is the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, alongside a snapshot of phone records showing Nunes’ apparent involvement.

“Devin Nunes, you should have recused yourself at the outset of the #HIC #ImpeachingHearings. #LetLevSpeak https://t.co/HeG8kFEDwl”
The committee’s report detailed numerous phone calls between Nunes and Giuliani, as well as calls between the lawmaker and Parnas — all at key points in Giuliani’s efforts to secure Ukrainian investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and his attempts to oust the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.
Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California, also expressed his concern over Nunes’ involvement in President Donald Trump and Giuliani’s scheme to elicit investigations from a foreign country:
Kyle Griffin on Twitter
“Schiff, asked about Nunes: "It is, I think, deeply concerning that at a time when the president of the U.S. was using the power of his office to dig up dirt on a political rival that there may be evidence that there were members of Congress complicit in that activity."”
