Rep. Devin Nunes believes it is unfair that no one blames Russia when Democrats win — only Republicans.

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) wondered aloud on Thursday why no one blames Russia when Democrats win their elections, instead pointing to the Kremlin only when Republicans are involved.

Speaking with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Nunes also wondered why, if Russia only likes Republicans, they would have allowed Democrats to take the House in 2018.

“You notice how when [Democrats] win elections, the Russians didn’t do anything?” Nunes asked. “So if the Russians supposedly — and [President Vladimir] Putin — only like Republicans, why did they let Republicans lose the House of Representatives?”

“Nancy Pelosi won last time,” he added. “This is just — it’s never going to stop, because they don’t have any other issues, it seems like.”

Nunes comments came after the House Intelligence Committee, of which he is a member, received an intelligence briefing indicating that Russia was interfering in the 2020 election in an effort to help President Donald Trump win re-election.
