During a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday, President Donald Trump asked Macron if he would like “some nice ISIS fighters,” suggesting he would send the detainees into France.
Macron responded without looking toward Trump, instead directing his words to the media, saying: “Let’s be serious. [ISIS] ...is not yet done. I'm sorry to say that.”
After the French president explained the reality of the ISIS situation, Trump responded saying, "[This is] one of the greatest non-answers I've ever heard."
