Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman attended an event for major GOP donors with President Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club.

President Donald Trump keeps insisting that he does not know Lev Parnas or Igor Fruman — two of his personal attorney’s former associates caught up in the Ukraine scandal — but videos and photos keep appearing to undercut his claims.

According to The Washington Post, another such video emerged this week showing Parnas and Fruman at what appears to be a small gathering of Republican donors at Trump’s “Winter White House” in April 2018.

The video was recorded at Mar-a-Lago ten days before the two men would dine with the president at his Washington, D.C., hotel — a dinner during which “Parnas told the president that the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine was agitating against him, prompting Trump to abruptly call for her firing,” The Post noted.

In the new recording, which lasts about 37 minutes, neither Parnas nor Fruman can be heard saying much, but “Parnas can be seen acting as a photographer for the group, snapping photos of other attendees on their cellphones before posing for a picture with Trump.”

Others attending the event included Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and then-Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX). Brian Ballard, a Florida lobbyist who The Post reported is close to the president, was also there.

Parnas and his attorney, Joseph A. Bondy, have publicly detailed much of Parnas’ involvement in Trump’s Ukraine scheme, largely surrounding their work with the president’s personal attorney, Rudy Giulinia.

For his part, the president claims he does not know the men, just last week referring to Parnas as a “conman” and a “groupie.”
