NC Pastor Accused Of 100+ Counts Of Felony Sex Offenses Involving Children

Police arrested a pastor in North Carolina who is accused of committing over 100 felony sex offenses involving children.

Rodney Dean Luffman, the pastor of Open Arms Outreach Ministries in Wilkes County, North Carolina, was arrested last week on over 100 counts of felony sex offenses, according to Journal-Patriot.

Luffman, 58, was charged in connection with two male victims and one female victim. Detective Amanda Boyd of the Wiles Sheriff’s Office said the offenses against two of the victims occurred over a period of years.

One of the victims was as young as 4 years old and another as old as 16 when the offenses occurred, most between 2000 and 2015. 

Luffman remained in the Wilkes County Jail with a $1 million bond Monday.
