According to Axios, Mitch mcConnell has blocked a resolution to make special counsel Robert Mueller’s full report public.
In the House the resolution was passed unanimously and President Trump said that it “wouldn’t bother [him] at all” if the report was released. In explaining his decision to block the resolution, McConnell cited national security concerns. He argued that Attorney General William Barr should take some time to consider what is released to the public
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer put forth the original resolution and said that no time frame was specified.
