President Trump is willing to shut down the government again in February if he doesn't receive $5.7bn for his wall.

Sunday morning, Mick Mulvaney appeared on Face the Nation to discuss the possibility of another government shutdown. Mulvaney, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, claimed that President Trump would be willing to shut down the government again in order to secure funding for a border wall.

He claimed that Trump had reopened the government so that the border wall could be funded through negotiations and the passage of legislation. These statements come shortly after Trump’s announcement on Friday that the government would be reopened for three weeks while wall negotiations took place.
