Mick Mulvaney: Trump Has No Intention Of Profiting From His Presidency

Mick Mulvaney said Trump has made clear that he has no interest in profiting from the presidency.

White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney announced on Thursday that President Donald Trump has chosen his own golf resort in Florida to host next year's G-7 summit, insisting to reporters that emoluments are not an issue in the matter.

"Again, anticipating your questions, how is this this is not emolument violation? Will the president profit from this?" Mulvaney said. "The president pretty much made it very clear since he got here, he doesn't profit from being here. He has no interest in profiting from being here."
