Mark Cuban Tells Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez To Watch Her Tone And Language

Billionaire Mark Cuban's policing of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's tone did not sit well with her Twitter followers.

Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) apparently irked Mark Cuban with her Saturday tweet criticizing Republican Minority Whip Steve Scalise, earning the freshman congresswoman a rebuke from the billionaire for her “Us vs Them” attitude.

Ocasio-Cortez’s Twitter followers quickly handed Cuban a rebuke of their own.

Cuban, a billionaire who has flirted with running for president, called on the new lawmaker to be “different” and “radical.”

“Be a radical. Be different. Be a change leader Innovate,” he tweeted. “It’s your generation’s turn to govern. Go for it. But please leave our bad habit of using partisan language 'Us vs Them’ 'Rep vs Dem’ 'Libs vs Cons' behind. We are all in this together. Change the Game to Change the World.”

Ocasio-Cortez tweeted her sharp criticism of Scalise after the Republican sarcastically blasted her proposal to increase taxes on the wealthy:
