MAN WHO LED AFRICAN HUNTING EXPEDITIONS MEETS HIS DEMISE AMONG CROCODILES

Scott Van Zyl, a man who led the wealthy on hunting expeditions in Zimbabwe and South Africa, reportedly met his demise among hungry crocodiles according to Zimbabwean authorities.

The nature of Van Zyl’s death is a darkly ironic coda to a man known for offering weekly hunting tours of Africa’s most majestic creatures.

Van Zyl’s tours cost his wealthy clients $9,000. Those who went on his tours were permitted to kill up to seven different animal species during a week in the wild. Animals killed during these hunting retreats were leopards, zebras, lions and others.

Zimbabwe authorities believe that they have found Van Zyl’s remains inside one of crocodile attackers, however, they must wait for DNA testing to conclude prior to making a positive identification.
