Karen Pence voiced her support for Donald Trump’s treatment of women, and twitter responses were brutal.

Karen Pence, the wife of Vice President Mike Pence, recently stated that she liked President Donald Trump’s respect for his daughters and claimed that he had “empowered women like no other,” according to HuffPost.

Twitter responded with a blood bath of replies detailing Trump’s contentious history with women. The list included insults towards women, boasting of sexual assault on the now-infamous 2005 “Access Hollywood” bus ride, and the long list of sexual misconduct and assault allegations against the president.

Twitter users did not let it slide, saying, “didn’t your husband want to end the campaign after the Access Hollywood tape,” and, “This is quite a departure from how Karen Pence felt about Trump’s treatment of women back in 2016, according to @TimAlberta’s reporting in ‘American Carnage.’”
