Roger Stone, his lawyers and the special counsel's office were ordered not to speak publicly about Stone's case.

Politico reported on Friday that Trump associate Roger Stone, his attorneys and special counsel Robert Mueller were ordered by a federal judge to stop speaking publicly about the case involving charges against Stone.

Stone was charged with lying to Congress and obstructing its Russia investigation.

U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson in a four-page order sided with Mueller that Stone and his attorneys “must refrain from making statements to the media or in public settings that pose a substantial likelihood of material prejudice to this case.” She also ordered lawyers and potential witnesses to refrain from commenting to the press when they enter or exit the D.C. courthouse where Stone is on track to go to trial later this summer or fall.
