Biden plans on drawing several critical distinctions between himself and Trump as he travels through Iowa.

Joe Biden, the democratic presidential candidate and former vice president, will travel to Iowa to try and spur support by contrasting his political stances to President Trump’s, CBS News reported.

Biden plans to refer to Trump as “an existential threat to decency, America’s standing in the world, and democracy”.

The former vice president will discuss several key issues which include tariffs, climate change, and restoring American “values.”

As he travels throughout Iowa, Biden will point out the president’s “lack of empathy for rural residents” as his tariff war is pushing the costs onto American farmers. He will compare Trump’s actions towards farmers to the construction workers, electricians, and plumbers who built the mogul’s real estate enterprise. Biden will say that all of them were “stiffed”.

The candidate will also “make an emotional appeal about Mr. Trump’s ‘crude language’ and ‘embarrassing behavior’”. He will ask: “What are you going to do when your kids start tweeting like Trump and say, ‘Well, the president did it’”.
