Jeffery Epstein’s longtime bodyguard, Igor Zinoviev, says someone “helped” Epstein commit suicide, according to the NY Post.

“Somebody helped him to do that,” Zinoviev said.

Epstein was found dead on Saturday at a Manhattan detention center. Zinoviev, who was formerly a UFC fighter before being a bodyguard and driver for five or six years, said he would not elaborate on his theories of Epstein’s death.

“Listen, you know, that’s going a little too deep,” he said.

In a 2015 interview, Zinoviev explained the power of Epstein’s money.

“He has so much money he can pay it off,” he said. “Me personally, if I caught him with my daughter or something do that — I’m not going to go to police. I do something else. Much worse. That guy could try to sue me and manipulate the situation with his money. That’s the American way.”

Zinoviev also walked back claims he had made in the past that Epstein had relationships with underage girls and would cycle through girls if they got too attached to him.

“It’s not sensitive — it’s just — kind of a little uncorrect [sic],” Zinoviev said.

He clarified that he was not afraid of the fallout from the comments. He said, “I’m not afraid. Beyond that just he is dead. I don’t want anything to be uncorrect [sic]. There’s too much s–t in here, you know, already. He’s dead and just like, freaking people, just leave him alone.”
