The Daily Mail reported in 2019 that just two months after being released from jail in Florida a decade ago, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein attended a party in the Hamptons at the home of David and Julia Koch.
- According to the report, photos from the 2010 dinner party show that Epstein “hobnobbed with high-profile guests from the worlds of politics, banking, Hollywood and philanthropy.”
- The guests included “Steve Mnuchin and his then-wife Heather, Rudy Giuliani and his then-wife Judith and Wilbur Ross,” all of whom were there for a screening of “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.”
- Epstein had pleaded guilty in 2008 to “state charges of procuring a person under 18 for prostitution and felony solicitation of prostitution,” RawStory noted, adding: “That non-prosecution agreement, which was widely criticized at the time as too lenient, was reached with future Trump labor secretary Alex Acosta.”
- The now-deceased financier would later be charged with sex trafficking in New York, where he took his own life in a jail cell while awaiting trial.
