Three people were injured in the attack, including a pregnant woman. The driver of the truck was not harmed.

A man deliberately crashed a stolen delivery truck into a New Jersey Planned Parenthood this week, sending a staff member and two patients - one of whom was pregnant - to the hospital with injuries.

Marckles Alcius, 31, pleaded not guilty Friday after officials at the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said he crashed into the East Orange clinic’s waiting room deliberately Wednesday.

He has been charged with aggravated assault, theft and attempt to cause widespread injury and damage.

Prosecutors believe Alcius' actions were intentional but have not divulged an alleged motive at this time, and officials have indicated additional charges are likely to be filed.

Essex County prosecutors and Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday night called the crash a “truck attack.”

“Angered by this week's truck attack against a @PPFA clinic in East Orange,” the governor tweeted. “At a time when women's health care is under siege, we must protect and defend safe and affordable health care access for all.”
