A group of men in Oregon are arrested for disorderly conduct after they drunkenly harassed a black family

Seven men in Oregon have been arrested after they harassed a black family, using racial slurs and Nazi salutes, according to CBS News.

  • The men openly challenged officers who arrived at the scene in Lincoln City, Oregon and were also setting off fireworks, which is banned in the city.
  • They were arrested on numerous charges including riot, disorderly conduct, interfering with police and possession of illegal fireworks.
  • The police were called to the beach in front of the Inn at Spanish Head to deal with the group and learned that the men had been taunting a black family staying at the inn. The officers enabled the family to return to their room and then "moved in on the confrontational and highly intoxicated group and began placing them under arrest."
  • The men have since been cited and released.
