The blame for his death ‘falls on Trump, Abbott and all the other politicians who did not take this pandemic seriously.’

According to Business Insider, the widow of David Nagy – who is “one of nearly 7,000 Texas residents who lost their lives to the novel coronavirus” – wrote an “impassioned obituary, placing the blame on President Donald Trump, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, and what she described as selfish anti-maskers.”

  • David Nagy died on July 22, and Nagy’s grieving widow wrote an obituary which ran in the Jefferson Jimplecute newspaper.
  • Some people “tweeted copies of the obituary,” according to Business Insider.

"The blame for his death and the deaths of all the other innocent people, falls on Trump, Abbott and all the other politicians who did not take this pandemic seriously and were more concerned with their popularity and votes than lives," Nagy wrote. "Also to blame are the many ignorant, self centered and selfish people who refused to follow the advice of the medical professionals, believing their 'right' not to wear a mask was more important than killing innocent people."

  • Stacey Nagy “described herself in the obituary as inconsolable, and indicated that her husband had been separated from family during his last days. Medical protocol requires that COVID-19 patients be isolated during their care because of the highly contagious nature of the virus,” wrote Business Insider.

"Dave did everything he was supposed to do, but you did not," Nagy wrote to the politicians and anti-maskers in the obituary. "Shame on all of you, and may Karma find you all!"
