In Interview, Trump Voter Holds Back Tears While Discussing Trump’s Impeachment

Trump voter fights back tears over impeachment

One of the Trump supporters who spoke with MSNBC on Tuesday ahead of President Donald Trump’s visit to Pennsylvania had to fight back tears as she discussed her feelings about the articles of impeachment announced earlier in the day.

According to RawStory, Barbara Hitcho told the news outlet that she was “breaking up here because I’m very upset today.”

“I’m glad I’m here,” she said. “I think it’s so hard because he’s done such a great job and this is the way that he’s being treated. It’s very upsetting to me.”

Others expressed similar sentiments.

“Nobody’s perfect,” said a man sporting Trump gear. “He hasn’t been without mistakes. But he certainly has done more things right than wrong. And he’s done a lot for this country with jobs and supporting the military and everything that he does. It’s just wonderful.”

Another told MSNBC he does not trust “so-called experts” who testified during the impeachment inquiry because “they are the ones that got us into trouble that the United States has been in for a while.”

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against Trump on Tuesday morning, one for abuse of power and the other for obstruction of Congress.
