The United States has witnessed several presidential firsts in its relatively short existence, not the least of which being its first black Commander in Chief.
But President Donald Trump and his wife Melania bring an unusual first to the White House: They are the first presidential couple to have both appeared in adult material – the president in Playboy films and the First Lady in print.
As The Intellectualist noted previously, Trump cameoed in three Playboy videos: one in 1994, 2000, and again in 2001.
No nudity was involved in his appearances, but the soft-porn videos featured such content elsewhere.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, it was revealed that the soon-to-be First Lady had participated in an adult photo shoot for the men’s magazine Max in 1995 – fully nude and with another woman.
This first for America is notable not only for its nature but for the fact that Trump chose to run on the Republican ticket, and Republicans are notoriously anti-adult entertainment – going so far as to label pornography a “public health crisis” and “menace”.
The hypocrisy involved with Republicans’ acceptance of the Trumps while disparaging others who are involved with or partake of adult material is beyond the pale.
