Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner made around $100 million from investments and personal ventures last year, including more than $4 million from Donald Trump’s hotel in Washington D.C., according to Quartz.
The couple, both of whom work as unpaid advisers at the White House, had a net worth between $181 and $755 million last year, according to new data released by the US Office of Government Ethics (OGE).
The president’s daughter derived close to $4 million from investments in her father’s hotel in the capital through an entity listed as “Ivanka OPO LLC,” according to the disclosure. She made an additional $1.4 million from two other properties linked to Trump
Two lawsuits dispute the ownership of the D.C. hotel and claim that the president violated the Constitution’s emoluments clause by profiting from foreign governments staying at the hotel.
Ivanka also earned $1-5 million in profit from her apparel and fragrance line in 2018.
Kushner made close to $1.5 million from his family's real estate business, and an undisclosed amount from Cadre, a real estate firm co-founded by his brother and a former Goldman Sachs executive.
The president’s son in law has between $27-135 million in debt, according to the OGE.
