IG Report Found That FBI Agents Celebrated Trump’s 2016 Victory

Members of the FBI were some of Trump's biggest fans, yet he claimed they were "spying" on him.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz found that agents celebrated Trump’s 2016 victory, while President Trump alleges that the FBI is part of the “deep state” and is “spying” on him, according to Mediaite

“In our review, we also learned that, in 2016, the FBI had several other CHSs [Confidential Human Sources] with either a connection to candidate Trump or a role in the Trump campaign. Some of these sources were known to and available for use by the Crossfire Hurricane team during the 2016 presidential campaign, while others were not,” page 336 of the report reads.

Footnotes in the report reveal that FBI agents texted their support for Trump on page 339, where a supervisory special agent (SSA) compared Trump’s victory to “watching a Superbowl comeback.”

More unidentified agents handing a CHS were detailed to have had the following conversation:

Handling Agent: “Trump!”

Co-Case Handling Agent: “Hahaha. Sh*t just got real.”

Handling Agent: “Yes it did.”

Co-Case Handling Agent: “I saw a lot of scared MFers on…[my way to work] this morning. Start looking for new jobs fellas. Haha.”

Handling Agent: “LOL”
