Lev Parnas, who was indicted this week on campaign finance charges, reportedly donated $2,700 to the GOP leader.

The foreign-born Florida businessman who assisted Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani with his work in Ukraine has donated thousands of dollars to the House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, according to RawStory.

The news that Lev Parnas contributed to McCarthy’s campaign was first revealed by New York Daily News reporter Michael McAuliff, who noted that Parnas sent $2,700 to the California Republican in June 2018.

RawStory said that Federal Election Commission records show that Parnas donated the same amount to Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), “who on Thursday was implicated in an indictment of Parnas and his business partner, Igor Fruman.”
