Geraldo Rivera said he would like to "wap" the "rotten snitch" who filed a whistleblower complaint against Trump.

Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera has a beef with the intelligence community whistleblower whose complaint sparked an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, according to Mediaite.

The 76-year-old conservative commentator said he would like to “wap” the “rotten snitch.”

“This is gonna be what the impeachment is all about, maybe one or two little other things fall in,” Rivera said. “So it’s going to be the president of the United States in a conversation that was intercepted by a rotten snitch, I’d love to wap him, but that’s another story.”

As Mediaite noted, the old-school term “wap” means to beat or strike. Trump made a similar, albeit far more extreme, suggestion on Thursday when he said the whistleblower and anyone who assisted them is like a “spy” and should be punished for “treason.”
