Gabbard, A Democratic Presidential Candidate, Blames “Both Sides” For Shutdown

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) said "both sides have hardened their positions" on the border wall funding issue.

Democratic Representative and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii said on CNN's State of the Union that "both sides" are to blame for the ongoing partial government shutdown, painting her party's leadership as just as unreasonable as President Trump.

"Both sides have hardened their positions & are unwilling to come together & work out the differences. That's the problem here. It's a problem we see with a lot of issues that come before us in Washington."
