Fox’s Peter Hegseth Implies That He Committed Murder While Serving In Iraq

“If [Maj. Matthew Golsteyn] committed premeditated murder...then I did as well. What do you think you do in war?"

Chatting with Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) on Monday morning, Fox & Friends co-host Pete Hegseth suggested that both he and Hunter had committed murder while serving in the military.

During a discussion on the charges against Maj. Mathew Golsteyn, who is accused of killing “an alleged Taliban bomb maker after the man had been released by Afghan authorities,” Hegseth said if Golsteyn is guilty of premeditated murder, then both he and Hunter are as well.

“If he committed premeditated murder, then Duncan did as well, then I did as well,” the co-host said. “What do you think you do in war?”

“Put me in jail, then,” Hunter offered in response.

“Put us all in jail,” Hegseth said.
