The Fox News analyst said that Trump has effectively confessed to soliciting campaign aid from a foreign government.

President Donald Trump essentially confessed to a crime when he admitted asking Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, according to Fox News judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano.

Napolitano told Fox’s Shepard Smith last week that Trump has admitted he attempted to "solicit aid for his campaign from a foreign government.”

Smith clarified, saying, “So that to which the president has admitted is in and of itself a crime,” and Naplitano responded, “yes.”

Trump denied last week that he withheld U.S. military aide from Ukraine while pressuring the country to investigate the Bidens, but he also said to reporters, “It’s very important to talk about corruption. ... Why would you give money to a country that you think is corrupt?”
