Fox Refers to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras as ‘Three Mexican Countries’

Mexico is only one country, and it was not mentioned in Trump's announcement.

After Trump’s announcement that he would cut aid to El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, the Fox and Friends Weekend crew erroneously referred to the three countries and “3 Mexican Countries.” Trump’s plan to cut aid would act as a disincentive for sending migrant caravans to the U.S.

According to The Daily Beast, although the headline lasted only a few seconds it was soon all over social media, such as Twitter. After the headline went viral, Fox and Friends Weekend fill in co-host Ed Henry issued a correction on-air.

“Now we want to clarify and correct something that happened earlier in the show. We had an inaccurate graphic onscreen while talking about this very story. We just want to be clear, the funding is being cut off to the three Central American countries. We apologize for the error- it never should’ve happened.”

To be clear, Mexico is only one country and was not mentioned in Trump’s announcement.

FOX, where education and viewer intelligence are not required. As Liberals are Scum would say : "Duh, derp, duh, derp, did you hear that honey ? Three other little Mexicos are sending terrorists to our border to steal our jobs. But we fooled them, Trump already allowed them to be moved to China ! That's why, honey, I'm afraid to use my real name and bravely hide behind my Mommy's laptop".

Geopolitical genius. No one knows more about all the Mexican countries than him. That is too pathetic to joke about it. The POTUS is never embarrassed by his lack of facts. The POTUS ....forget it,IT'S not fun anymore.

Professional US sectarian propaganda meets the usual US proficiency in geography.

Because of people like you.... I have never actually watched Fox News. When I'm in waiting room or something like that... I see minutes of impossible to believe stuff... And there's the clips and sound bytes... But never watched.

I'm thinking about it... Who are these watchers and believers? Why? All I ever hear is how redneck Nazi rich assholes and/or religious fanatic... What is really going on with Fox News?
