Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich is certain that Donald Trump, Jr. was a victim of Hillary Clinton when he decided to take a meeting with Russian lawyer and admitted spy Natalia Veselnitskaya during the 2016 presidential election.
Why? Because Veselnitskaya also met with an individual from Fusion GPS, the firm behind the infamous Steele dossier – which means she must have been working to find dirt on the Trump campaign at the behest of Clinton.
But even Pavlich’s co-hosts on Fox’s Outnumbered weren’t following her logic.
“This wasn’t about giving Don Jr. dirt, this was about [Veselnitskaya] going into Trump tower and trying to get dirt on the Trump campaign,” she said.
Pavlich doubled-down on blaming Clinton—even as she was challenged by one of the show’s co-hosts.
Melissa Francis though perhaps Veselnitskaya’s visit was just one of numerous attempts to infiltrate the Trump campaign, and Pavlich agreed – but not on who was behind the infiltration attempts.
“On behalf of Hillary Clinton and the DNC!” yelped Pavlich.
“Well, or, or … on behalf of the Russians,” Francis said.
Pavlich’s assertions were derived from transcripts released by the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday detailing information related to Don Jr.’s meeting with Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower.
