FORMER COLLEGE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT ADMITS ATTENDING HATE RALLY

James Allsup, the former President of Washington State University College Republicans was identified to have attended the Charlottesville hate rally.

He confirmed his attendance to the Spokesman-Review according to the article, “In aftermath of Charlottesville violence, local lawmakers, activists express rage and sorrow.”

“James Allsup, a recent WSU graduate and former president of WSU College Republicans, attended the rally to document the events and deliver a speech in support of the white nationalist protests. While he also pointed to race as a motivating factor in the day’s events, he said that it was whites who had reason to feel under attack.

“People are tired of continual attack by cosmopolitan elites on white people,” he said. “For young whites specifically, we feel like ‘I’m not responsible.’ We’re tired of being attacked for white privilege.””
