On multiple occasions, Flynn messaged Gaetz on Twitter on the days of important events related to the Mueller probe.

According to Talking Points Memo, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn communicated with at least one congressional lawmaker following his cooperation agreement with Robert Mueller.

In April 2018, Flynn sent a private message to Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on Twitter to “keep the pressure on.”

“You stay on top of what you’re doing. Your leadership is so vital for our country now. Keep the pressure on,” he told Gaetz.

CNN also pointed out that Flynn’s messages to Gaetz in one instance took place an hour prior to the Florida Republican’s Fox Business appearance, in which he slammed the special counsel’s investigation.

CNN and Political also alleged that Flynn messaged Gaetz images and GIFs of an American flag and a bald eagle on the day of now-Attorney General William Barr’s confirmation in February of this year.
