"As long as there isn’t any pigs blood or a goat's head, I think we'll be OK."

Friendly Atheist reports that Central Florida Freethought Community board member Joseph Richardson will give a secular invocation on Wednesday at a meeting of the POlk County Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Bill Braswell has some thoughts on the speaker.

“I’ve never heard an atheist give an invocation before so it should be interesting,” Braswell said. “As long as there isn’t any pigs blood or a goat’s head, I think we’ll be OK.” Braswell only requested that Richardson make it brief as “We’ve got a lot of stuff to do.”
