It bears reminding that Russian President Vladimir Putin is engaged in an offensive war against Ukraine, an independent nation that is an important U.S. ally.

During his phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, President Donald Trump was repeating the talking points of Ukraine’s primary enemy while speaking to its leader:

“When the president of the United States says in a call to President Zelensky ‘you need to look into this CrowdStrike thing, this DNC server thing,’ that is him repeating Putin propaganda.”
