On Fox & Friends, Eric Trump said that his father had the support of 95% of the country.
He said, “My father is in there, and he’s fighting every single day,” said Eric. “And he has to fight against the media. He has to fight against these lunatics. And guys, I’m telling you, 95 percent of this country is behind him in this message. I mean, people love this nation.”
Meanwhile, Trump’s approval rate hovers at 44% according to Gallup, so it is unclear where Eric Trump is getting his numbers.
Eric Trump has become the comedian that America doesn’t want or need. This is just one among countless ridiculous things the young Trump has said.
In March, he told Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade that he gets “daily” appreciation from people on the street for all of his sacrifice.
“[T]here is not a day that goes by where people don’t come up to me on the street and say, ‘Hey, thank you for what your family is doing, like, thank you for the sacrifices you’ve made,’” Trump told Fox & Friends Kilmeade during a radio interview.
He continues to compliment himself and his father, for making the “sacrifice” of being president.
“I mean, this was a billionaire who gave up an unbelievable life to go get punched on the chin every single day,” Trump said. “To get abused, and quite frankly, as a family we’ve done that as well.”
Also in March, Eric Trump accused former President Obama for trying to take credit for President Trump’s accomplishments, which has of course, never happened.
"He's taken credit for a lot of my father's accomplishments, but you see the passion, you don't see the passion at his rallies, you see the passion at my father's rallies," Eric Trump said on Fox & Friends.
Finally, Eric Trump has warned against “handing” things to Americans, as people should work for the things they have. Meanwhile, Eric Trump has quite literally been handed everything in his life.
