Eric Trump Accuses Hunter Biden Of Nepotism, Claims He Uses Name For Profit
Eric Trump has intimated once again that children of powerful American politicians profiting off of their family names — specifically, Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden — should not be tolerated.
Eric Trump on Twitter
“Board members of Exxon Mobil (one of the worlds largest and most prestigious energy companies) make $330,000 annually. Hunter Biden, with no industry knowledge or duties, was being paid $600,000 annually. All of this while the average annual salary in Ukraine is $1700 per year.”
Putting aside whether or not the accusation is true, as it matters not in this situation, Trump — himself the son of a prominent U.S. politician — is projecting something fierce when it comes to the Bidens.
All of the Trump children have profited off of their family name, and not always with the qualifications one would expect to go along with their positions.
In particular, both Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner hold posts within the Trump administration that, barring being family of President Donald Trump, would never be granted them based on their qualifications alone.
The president and his children both have potentially profited from Donald Trump’s stint in the White House, as a series of lawsuits has claimed, from foreign governments and Republican groups patronizing Trump hotels to Ivanka receiving patents in China shortly after meetings between the two countries leaders.
Whether the Bidens engaged in similar behavior is essentially beside the point. The Trumps are actively perpetrating the very scheme they accuse the Bidens of wrongly employing.
