Donald Trump Has Appeared In Three Adult Films Since The 1990’s
With recent comments by President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani attacking adult film star Stormy Daniels making their rounds in the news, it bears reminding that the President of the United States has appeared in at least three soft-porn videos produced by Playboy.
Giuliani said that Daniels lacks credibility due to her profession and that when “you’re involved in a sort of slimy business, [that] says something about you”, among other remarks.
What might Giuliani say about the president’s appearances?
In 2016, the Daily Beast noted that Trump turned up in Playboy videos in 1994, 2000, and 2001.
The GOP nominee appeared in at least two softcore porn videos, CNN reported Wednesday, including a 1994 tape titled "Playboy Centerfold" that showed the frisky financier taking photos of models.
The video, unearthed by CNN, shows Trump photographing fully-clothed women with a Polaroid camera and interviewing a potential Playmate.
Trump — the Republican president nominee, whose own party has dubbed pornography "a public health crisis" — is shown in one scene interviewing one potential model as part of Playboy magazine's search for its 40th anniversary Playmate.
And in 2000:
That soft-core video, unearthed by Buzzfeed — by the same team of reporters who, now working for CNN, discovered the latest tapes — showed Trump popping a bottle of champagne and pouring the bubbly over the Playboy logo during a national Playboy Playmate tour that featured a stop in New York.
"Beauty is beauty, and let's see what happens with New York," Trump says in the 2000 video.
And again in 2001:
Another tape obtained by CNN, a 2001 Playboy video about a fashion show, features Trump backstage at the show with two Playmates as well as his then-girlfriend (and current wife) Melania Knauss.
Granted, none of the scenes Trump participated in contained sexuality or nudity of any kind – those scenes are found elsewhere in the films.
But according to Giuliani’s logic, Trump’s character must be called into question.
