Senator Dianne Feinstein releases the entire Fusion GPS transcript after Republicans refused to do so.

Senator Dianne Feinstein has released the entire Fusion GPS senate interview transcript after Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) refused to do so. In a recent New York Times editorial, Fusion GPS called on Senate republicans to release these interview transcripts.

Fusion GPS is the firm behind the now infamous Steele Dossier. The Steele Dossier alleges that President Donald Trump has had a relationship with Russian intelligence for many years, among other serious allegations.

Recently, Republican Senators Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham referred Christopher Steele, the author of the Steele Dossier, to the U.S. Justice Dept. for criminal investigation.

"The American people deserve the opportunity to see what he said and judge for themselves,” Feinstein, the top Democrat on the judiciary committee, said in a statement about her decision to release the Simpson transcript. “The innuendo and misinformation circulating about the transcript are part of a deeply troubling effort to undermine the investigation into potential collusion and obstruction of justice. The only way to set the record straight is to make the transcript public," she said.
