D.C. Renames Street Where Trump Held Bible ‘Black Lives Matter Plaza’
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser renamed the street in front of the White House “Black Lives Matter Plaza NW.”
Video footage courtesy of Rebekah Mena, Deputy Chief of Public Affairs at DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, shows the unveiling of the new street sign.
Mena said of the renaming, “I am so proud to be a Washingtonian and an employee of the District of Columbia Government.”
This is the same street where President Trump held a Bible last Monday during his photo op at St. John's Episcopal Church.
