Last week, President Trump staged a photo op holding a Bible on the same street.

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser renamed the street in front of the White House “Black Lives Matter Plaza NW.”

  • Video footage courtesy of Rebekah Mena, Deputy Chief of Public Affairs at DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, shows the unveiling of the new street sign.

  • Mena said of the renaming, “I am so proud to be a Washingtonian and an employee of the District of Columbia Government.”

This is the same street where President Trump held a Bible last Monday during his photo op at St. John's Episcopal Church.
