Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, is seeking a sentence reduction and admitted that he “sold his soul” to Trump, according to Raw Story.
Trump’s former “fixer” blasted the Department of Justice for “blind loyalty” to Trump in new court filings.
According to the filings, Cohen argued that Attorney General William Barr, in leading the Justice Department, “did not act in ‘good faith’ in failing to meet with Mr. Cohen after he surrendered to serve his sentence,” and that “the Government’s position represents a consistent pattern of blind Barr loyalty to Trump.”
The court filings state that Cohen was humiliated and sought out power and money, while throwing away his integrity. Cohen requested a federal judge to consider reducing his 3-year prison sentence.
