CNN Republican Host: Trump’s Presidency Is “Decomposing” Before Our Eyes

“When your only supporters on foreign policy are Rand Paul and Vladimir Putin, you know you’re probably doing it wrong.”

Conservative CNN commentator S.E. Cupp gave a run-down Saturday night of Donald Trump’s failing presidency — likening his performance in the Oval Office to a CEO driving his company into the ground.

Trump’s presidency is “decomposing” right before America’s eyes, the host said.

“Trump, his supporters, and Republicans who gave him cover can no longer pretend that this is a healthy administration,” Cupp said. “They’re watching it fall apart.”

From high-level resignations and firings to Trump's meddling in Federal Reserve decisions to numerous ongoing investigations, the Trump administration clearly is not functioning well.

Referring to the protest resignation of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, who threw in the towel after Trump decided to pull U.S. troops from Syria and Afghanistan against the advice of advisers, Cupp noted that the president is at odds with not only his foreign policy and military officials but most Republicans and Democrats as well:

“When your only supporters on foreign policy are Rand Paul and Vladimir Putin, you know you’re probably doing it wrong.”
