California Pastor Accused Of Molesting Multiple Children Over 6-Year Span

The pastor was arrested on Thursday following an investigation that started in February after victims came forward.

According to Visalia Times Delta, 68-year-old Gustavo Gonzalez Zamora – former Lindsay pastor who left the Tulare County church more than a decade ago – has been arrested on several child molestation allegations after the adult victims spoke up.

  • Tulare County sheriff’s detectives reported that Zamora, who was serving as a pastor in Northern California before his arrest, had molested multiple children in his congregation.
  • The victims, who are now adults, said the abuse took place between 1994 and 2000, when Zamora was the head of the Apostolic Assembly Church in Lindsay, CA.
  • Zamora abruptly left the Lindsay church in 2000, and now the Stockton resident is expected to be held in a Tulare County jail until his hearing on Tuesday.

Detectives are encouraging anyone with additional information pertaining to the investigation to call Detective Eli Venegas and or Sgt. Jesse Cox at 733-6218 or anonymous by calling or texting 725-4194 or through email at
