Border Patrol: Despite Being Caged, The Kids Aren't Being Treated Like Animals

U.S. Border Patrol wants the public to know that holding people in cages is not treating them like animals.

As media attention increases around immigration detention centers, U.S. Border Patrol is "very uncomfortable" with the terminology used in news reports.

According to CBS This Morning, Border Patrol officials admit the term "cages" accurately describes the facilities used to hold immigrants, but they stressed that the human beings inside are not being treated like animals.
