BEN CARSON BECOMES ADMINISTRATION’S VOICE OF REASON, TELLS TRUMP TO GIVE RUSSIA PROBE A CHANCE

Dr. Ben Carson, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, has become a voice of reason in the Trump Administration.

Talking to Fox News Radio about Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Dr. Carson said, “I would give him (Mr. Mueller) the chance to see if he could do that because if there’s nothing there – he’s not gonna find anything anyway.” Dr. Carson added, “That has been the case now for nearly a year – there’s nothing to find, that’s why they keep going down these empty rabbit holes. That will continue to be the case because there’s nothing there.”

The HUD Secretary called the Russia investigation “frustrating” since it has supposedly prevented the Trump administration from accomplishing its goals.

“It’s frustrating because it keeps us from getting to the things that need to be done, and I’m not sure that that isn’t the real reason for it,” Dr. Carson said.

Dr. Carson has a history of saying outrageous statements but it appears that this has tempered, at least for now.
