At Davos, Trump Complains That Sean Hannity Hasn’t Received The Pulitzer Prize
In Davos, President Donald Trump complained that Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh had yet to receive the Pulitzer Prize before international reporters.
The Pulitzer Prize is awarded for “excellence in newspaper journalism, literary achievements, musical composition.”
President Donald Trump complained that right-wing media personalities Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh have yet to receive the Pulitzer Prize during a presser at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday.
Before international reporters, Trump criticized the U.S. media for, in his view, reporting on him and his administration unfairly.
“The corruption in the media — as I call it, the fake news media — is unbelievable,” he said, going on to say that some journalists were awarded the Pulitzer Prize for stories that turned out to be false.
But others, such as Hannity and Limbaugh, “got it right,” Trump said, but “they didn’t get Pulitzer Prizes.”
