Multiple Democratic lawmakers have come forward to offer former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe additional federal work so that he can better qualify for his U.S. pension according to the Hill.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions claims McCabe lacked candor when investigators asked him questions about an alleged leak to the press, a claim that the former FBI Deputy Director vehemently denies.
McCabe claims that he was fired due to his work on the Russia probe.
President Donald Trump has maintained an publicly hostile attitude towards the former FBI Deputy Director, going so far as to openly celebrate when he was fired.
McCabe’s spokeswoman said that the former FBI deputy director is ‘considering all options’ when it comes to employment.
