After Losses, GOP Chairwoman Suggests Ending Direct Voting For State Elections

On Twitter, Dr. Kelli Ward, the Chairwoman of the Arizona Republican Party, suggested implementing the electoral college at the state level in order to prevent future Republican losses.
Ward’s suggestion is an open challenge to American democracy. Republicans fear they can no longer win elections based on winning the most votes.
Twitter users were quick to let Ward know her idea is a poor one:
