Republicans like to say video games cause America's mass shootings, but other countries don't seem to have this problem.

President Donald Trump and Republicans are blaming video games as the cause of a recent spate of mass shootings across the United States.

However, if video games cause mass shootings, shouldn’t this mean that mass shootings should occur in other countries where video games are prevalent? It should; however, the data indicates that it doesn’t.

For instance, South Korea and China spend more on a per capita basis on video games than the United States, however, neither countries experience even a mere fraction of the gun violence that plagues the United States.
