FORMER ALABAMA KKK LEADER SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING WOMAN

Former Alabama KKK Leader Steven Joshua Dinkle has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexually abusing his ex-girlfriend in southern Alabama.

Mr. Dinkle was convicted of sexual abuse after he recorded himself assaulting his ex-girlfriend. His ex-girlfriend was incapacitated at the time of the attack. The victim asked the Court to sentence her rapist to the maximum amount of time allowed by law.

“Don’t go easy on him like everyone else. Show him there are consequences for his actions,” the victim wrote to the presiding judge.

CBS News: “Federal authorities said Dinkle once was the leader of the Ozark branch of the International Keystone Knights, a KKK group based in Arkansas. His mother was the chapter secretary, according to the Justice Department. Dinkle was indicted in 2013 on charges of helping burn a large cross four years earlier near a predominantly black neighborhood in Ozark, located about 85 miles southeast of Montgomery. He later pleaded guilty to hate crime and obstruction charges.”

Mr. Dinkle has a long history of breaking the law. While serving time for sexual abuse, he will be serving a concurrent federal sentence due for a gun possession conviction.
